Biography

Lucy Huxley is one of the most highly-regarded journalists in the travel industry, and has more than two decades’ experience of covering the travel trade.She oversees editorial content across the Travel Weekly portfolio of publications, digital products and events, including the flagship weekly title, luxury brand Aspire and Travolution.

 

She joined Travel Weekly in 2010, following its acquisition from Reed Business Information. Prior to that, she spent 12 years at Travel Trade Gazette, the last three as editor, and was previously a journalist on regional newspapers, including chief reporter of the Kent & Sussex Courier.

 

In addition to overseeing editorial content, she is also heavily involved in all aspects of the UK travel portfolio, including relationships with key partners and the group's extensive calendar of events.

 

She is an accomplished presenter who hosts Travel Weekly events ranging from the Globe Travel Awards to intimate business breakfasts and executive dinners and is also in high demand as a moderator for partners including Abta and Cruise Lines International Association.
