Just You and Travelsphere report ‘phenomenal’ start to 2024

G Touring has reported “bumper” first-quarter sales from its Just You and Travelsphere brands, setting them on course for their most successful trading year.

The company said March saw the group’s biggest sales contribution since pre-Covid times, with solo specialist Just You and guided tour operator Travelsphere “smashing” their sales targets.

The average order value via the trade was nearly 20% higher than direct sales, thanks to long-haul destination bookings making up three of the top five destinations sold.

Tom Morgan, trade sales director at G Touring, said: “It has been a phenomenal start to the year for Just You and Travelsphere.

“Month on month, we have increased our sales, thanks to the continued growth in group touring holidays and the exceptional work of our team, led by head of sales Rachel Mould.

“Rachel has done a fantastic job throughout peaks to ensure our agent partners have been fully supported.

“With Jason Kemp and Jasmine Moreton joining the team, we are in a robust position to implement our ambitious trade plans to grow both Travelsphere and Just You to a wider audience.”

Just You’s top five destinations by spend are Italy, Spain, India, Australia and Vietnam while Travelsphere’s top five destinations by spend are US, Canada, Italy, Japan and Croatia.

“Our customer base for both brands is increasing exponentially as the appetite for escorted tours, whether as a solo traveller or with friends and family, continues to grow,” added Morgan.

“We are constantly striving to curate and provide memorable group touring experiences in the world’s most inspiring destinations and our recent first-quarter sales are a firm testament to that.”
