G Adventures is opening up its G-Normous incentive to the full UK and Ireland agent community for the first time this year.
The annual incentive running until April 30 will have an expanded reach to involve more agents, with one UK or Irish agent taking home a £3,000 jackpot, or one of the three runner up prizes worth £1,000.
Having taken place across the US, Canada and Australia in previous years, G-Normous will now be open to UK and Irish agents to help support them as travel bookings start to return.
Selling incentives, including cash prizes and a series of consumer offers, will be offered to agents to entice travellers to book.
Starting with January’s “The Great Adventure Sale”, which offers up to 30% off on select trips for departures through March 2022, agents will also be awarded weekly ‘spot prizes’ from leading consumer brands including Lonely Planet, KitchenAid, Stubble & Co and @Bambuu.
Agents will earn an entry into the prize draw for every client booked on a G Adventures tour from January 1 to April 30, regradless of travel date.
The operator is also relaunching its agent discount programme, offering up to 50% off trips to preferred partner agents.
National sales manager Stu Darnley said: “We’re especially excited about G-Normous this year as we look forward to getting travellers back out on the road. Now more than ever, it’s important for people to have something to look forward to and we want to incentivise our agents to secure these bookings now.
“We’ve seen incredible success in other regions through the incentive, and we can’t wait to reward our amazing UK and Irish travel agent community for their unwavering support through 2020 with our biggest and best incentive programme yet.”
