EasyJet Holidays boosts commission for turn-of-year sales

EasyJet Holidays will increase travel agency commission payments by two percentage points for sales during the traditional peak holiday booking period.

The increased commission rate will run from January 4-19 and will apply to holidays with departure dates from April 1, 2021, to March 26, 2022.

There are no targets or minimum number of holidays needed to be sold in order to receive the commission.

Brad Bennetts, head of distribution, said: “It’s been a tough year for the travel industry, and we recognise the challenges our trade partners have faced.

“We only launched to trade in August and we’ve been blown away by the response and support we’ve seen so far.

“We want to support trade agents at a time when it matters.

“We’re really looking forward to continuing our successful partnership with the trade in 2021 and helping many more people enjoy well-earned holidays.”

As an added incentive, the operator will launch details in early January about a competition for agents to have the chance to win an easyJet holiday.

EasyJet Holidays is also offering £100 off per person on all summer 2021 beach holidays with a stay of seven nights or more.
