Inghams opts for Italy magazine instead of brochure

Inghams has produced an ‘inspirational’ magazine on Italy instead of a traditional brochure to help travel agents confidently sell the destination.

The tour operator’s first Italy magazine includes all types of holidays offered in the destination for summer 2021, from lakes and mountains trips to tours, city breaks, multi-centres and tailormade holidays.

The ‘Italy, Your Passions, Your Holiday’ magazine aims to inspire agents’ clients by including a range of destination content, expert tips and suggestions on where to visit. It features some example prices.

Inghams offers 85 resorts across 14 regions in Italy, with low early booking deposits of £75 for bookings made before December 18.

Julie Franklin, head of agency sales, said: “We are excited to offer a new style of standalone Italian magazine. Our trade partners continue to be a key part of our sales distribution and we hope they will take inspiration from our magazine and confidently sell our holidays to their customers.”

Trips offered to Italy with Inghams include a seven-night, half-board stay at the five-star Dolomites’ Hotel Medil in Canzei from £824, including flights, and a three-night bed and breakfast stay at Florence’s three-star Hotel Corona d’Italia, including flights, from £344.

Meanwhile, Inghams’ ‘In Safe Hands’ campaign also offers details of additional safeguards put in place by the operator such as Covid-19 travel insurance cancellation cover for clients who test positive prior to departure or if required to self-isolate, a Covid refund promise and reassurance that clients’ monies are safe.

File copies of the magazine are being sent to agents and larger supplies will be able for order through Tradegate.
