Wendy Wu Tours has created a trade version of its Whispers magazine for travel agents.
The quarterly publication was originally aimed at consumers but is now being offered to the trade.
It showcases the operator’s trips to Southeast Asia, Central Asia, the Middle East, Latin America and Antarctica.
The trade version is designed to act as a ‘quick and easy reference guide to Wendy Wu’s product range’ and give tips to agents on how to proactively sell escorted touring in the post-Covid world.
John Warr, global sales director at Wendy Wu Tours, said: “Over the last 12 months, following our successful run of agent webinars, our agents have been asking for a concise and informative reference guide that they can use in store, at home, as well as sending out to their own customer databases.
“We spoke to a number of agents to find out what they wanted to see in a travel magazine, as well as how they wanted to use it, and took all of the ideas on board to create our first agents’ Whispers magazine’. As we know, customers are now looking for inspiring travel ideas for 2021 and so we encourage all agents to make the most of this resurgence in interest by downloading the magazine and sending a copy out to their customers.”
