A free travel amends policy has been extended by Marella Cruises and Tui River Cruises to cover all summer 2021 departures.
The measure is aimed at providing additional flexibility to customers who may be uncertain about booking cruises.
It now covers all new bookings until December 31 for any cruise on sale departing before October 31, 2021.
The change means that if customers no longer wish to travel, they can have one free amend up to 21 days before departure to move to a later date.
Managing director of the Tui cruise brands, Chris Hackney, said: “We understand some customers may feel a little uncertain about booking a cruise whilst travel advice hasn’t changed and so we wanted to offer flexibility for those wanting to secure their summer 2021 cruise with us with the added reassurance that if they no longer wish to travel they can amend for free.”
Sample Marella Cruises’ itineraries include a seven-night fly-cruise from Palma on May 1, 2021 on Marella Explorer starting at £902 per person featuring Ajaccio in Corsica, Civitavecchia for Rome, Livorno for Florence and Pisa, St Raphael for St Tropez and Barcelona.
