EasyJet confirms start date for new finance chief

EasyJet today confirmed a new year start date for incoming financial chief Kenton Jarvis.

Jarvis has been poached from Tui Group, where he is chief executive of aviation and markets business improvements director.

He is to join the UK budget carrier on February 3 when current chief financial officer Andrew Findlay will step down.

This will be followed by a short handover to ensure a smooth transition, according to the airline.

The appointment of Jarvis was announced last month.

EasyJet chief executive Johan Lundgren, also a former senior Tui executive, said at the time: “Kenton will join us during this period of exceptional challenge for global aviation.

“His depth of knowledge of the travel industry and financial skills will be key as we continue to rebuild following the pandemic.”
