Not Just Travel aims to encourage more consumers to book holidays, with the introduction of travel insurance that includes cover for Covid-19.
The homeworking agency estimates that 95% of holidaymakers currently don’t have cover for Covid-19.
The insurance policy with Covid protection covers coronavirus illness, repatriation, cancellation, curtailment, quarantine and cruises.
Steve Witt, co-founder of Not Just Travel, said: “When it comes to booking a holiday, insurance is important, right from the time of booking.
“Although we never plan for things to go wrong, sometimes they do. With a great range of cover available, including add-ons, travel insurance gives you a peace of mind from the moment you book your holiday, and throughout your holiday itself.”
Other operators and agencies have also announced Covid-19 policies this week, including Co-op Holidays, and Travel Republic and Club Med.
