Wizz Air launches five new routes from Luton

Wizz Air is to launch five new routes out of Luton this summer.

The budget carrier has added an additional aircraft to its Luton fleet, meaning it now has 11 at the airport.

Its new routes, which begin on August 7 and 8, are to Alicante, Ibiza, Menorca and Valencia in Spain, and Santorini in Greece, taking the total number of Wizz routes from Luton to 60.

One-way fares start from £21.99 on the Valencia route.

Wizz Air, which along with other airlines resumed flying to Greece today, is allowing customers to cancel flights up to three hours before departure in return for a 100% credit with the airline, and offering unlimited date changes.

Owain Jones, managing director of Wizz Air UK, said: “We’re excited to be welcoming back more and more customers who want to make travel memories this summer.”
