Jet2 suspends flights to French destinations

Jet2.com and Jet2holidays have suspended a host of flights to and from France as the effects of coronavirus on the travel industry continue.

The airline and operator’s scheduled services to Lyon, Grenoble, Paris and Nice have been stopped with immediate effect.

Customers overseas will continue to be flown home from Lyon and Grenoble until Saturday March 21, and from Paris and Nice until Monday March 16.

After then, Lyon and Grenoble flights will be suspended “for the rest of winter”, Paris flights until April 26 and Nice flights until May 4.

Jet2 said it would keep the situation “under review”.

Earlier today, Jet2 also suspended services to Geneva, Switzerland, and the Hungarian capital Budapest.
