Icelolly appoints new marketing chief and non-exec advisor

Icelolly.com has appointed Simon Lloyd as its new chief marketing officer.

Lloyd has previously held roles at Virgin Atlantic, AXA, Superdry and the BBC.

He will replace Ross Matthews who is joining Hoseasons parent company Awaze UK in the same role.

Lloyd will start his new role on January 6 and report into icelolly.com chief executive Richard Singer.

The holiday comparison site has also appointed Elliot Muscant as non-executive advisor.

He is co-founder and managing partner of marketing agency, Open Partners, and former chief executive of Dentsu Aegis and managing director of MediaVest Manchester.

Singer added: “We are delighted to welcome Elliot to the board during this exciting period. He brings a unique, strategic vision and perspective to the company.

“As we look to further develop our customer proposition and expand, his wealth of experience in growth businesses and digital marketplaces will be invaluable.”
