Specialist adventure tour operator Exodus Travels has joined the Specialist Travel Association (Aito).
The announcement comes just ahead of Aito’s annual overseas conference in Wrocklaw in Poland this weekend, where speakers include Sir Vince Cable, former leader of the Liberal Democrats.
Exodus’ first Aito event will be the association’s annual agents event in January 2020 in the UK. Aito has about 120 independent tour operator members.
Sam Seward, managing director, Exodus Travels, said: “These are both challenging and exciting times for our industry and joining Aito will allow Exodus to engage in really meaningful discussions with other authentic specialist travel providers of all shapes and sizes, especially with regards the subject of ethical and sustainable travel and changing needs of our customers.”
Seward added that the company’s focus on quality made it a “good fit” for Aito.
