Virgin Voyages has promoted director of international sales Shane Riley to associate vice president of international sales.
In addition to driving Virgin Voyages’ sales, Riley has launched the line’s agent online platform FirstMates.com, recruited two UK-based sales managers and is organising an overnight stay next year for 1,000 UK agents on Scarlet Lady, Virgin Voyages’ first ship.
In August, Australia was added to Riley’s remit when he became director of international sales. He joined the line from P&O Cruises in May 2018.

Virgin Voyages reveals details of agent portal
Scarlet Lady, which will launch in spring, will be followed by 2,770-passenger ship Valiant Lady in 2021.
Valiant Lady will operate seven-day western Mediterranean out of Barcelona.
Virgin Voyages has two more ships on order for delivery until 2023.
