Small group adventure operator Grand American Adventures has introduced a holiday to view the total solar eclipse in Argentina in 2020.
Called Solar Eclipse Argentina and Iguazu Falls (2020), the 11-night escorted features the chance to view the eclipse, plus a guided tour of Buenos Aires, visits to the Iguazu Falls and Los Glaciares National Park, a walking tour in the mountains and an Argentinian ‘asado’ barbecue.
Departing December 7, 2020, the tour costs from £4,249, but does not include international flights.
Richard Hanson, managing director, said: “Following the success of our 2019 solar eclipse departures to Argentina and Chile…we are delighted to be able to offer our clients the opportunity to view nature’s greatest spectacle again next year.”
The operator also has four new tours across the US in its 2020 brochure, including music and brewery themed itineraries.
The 10-night Eastern Cities & Signature Sounds tour costs from £3,099 and offers the chance to explore the musical heritage of New Orleans, Memphis, Nashville, Louisville, Chicago and New York.
There are two seven-night itineraries called Cities, Sights & Craft Beer Delights – the East Coast option costs from £2,059 and features New York City, Boston, Washington DC, Atlanta and Asheville, while the West Coast tour visits brewing locations in Washington State, Oregon and California, and costs from £1,979.
The new 11-night Southwestern Desert Explorer costs from £3,359 and takes clients from Los Angeles to Las Vegas.
The tour prices include accommodation, transport and a tour leader but not international flights.
