Wendy Wu unveils new Japan brochure and flight offers

Wendy Wu Tours has added five new holidays to its 2020-21 Japan programme, which includes Taiwan and South Korea for the first time.

The operator is also offering free business class upgrades on Air China worth £1,200 per person on some fully escorted Japan tours.

Alternatively, customers can opt for a Partner Flies Free promotion, worth up to £400 per person for selected Japan departures.

John Warr, global sales director, said passenger numbers to Japan for the past 12 months are up by 88% year-on-year.

“This is our fourth successive year of outstanding growth for Japan,” he said.

“As the UK’s number one group escorted tour operator to Japan, we now have the most group tours and departures in the industry.”

The new tours are the 13-day Japan & the Scenic South, from £5,790; the 14-day Journey through Japan, from £6,290; the 20-day Ancient Empires of China & Japan, from £6,490; the 13-day Scenic South Korea, from £4,490; and the 14-day ‘Treasures of Taiwan, from £3,290.

The holidays include return flights.

The operator also has extensions and stopovers such as the five-day Classic South Korea from £1,390; three-day Great Wall Hike from £650; and five-day Hong Kong & Macao, from £640.

Popular tours returning for 2020 are the 17-day Japan Uncovered, from £6,690 – which includes Osaka, Mount Fuji and Tokyo – and the 12-day Sapporo & Snow Monkeys holiday, from £4,990.

Along with the Classic Tours range, the brochure also features tour styles called Go Beyond, Private Tours and Solo Tours.
