Caroline Brown has joined the board of the Alfa Leisureplex Group in a newly-created role as group commercial director.
She joins from Welsh coach company Edwards Coaches, where she had been general manager since June 2018, and will be responsible for Alfa Travel – a UK and Europe coach holidays specialist.
Edwards, who has previously worked as commercial director and business unit leader for Shearings Holidays, and was chair of Abta UK Tourism and Leisure Groups, will also provide commercial support to Leisureplex hotels as part of her new role with Alfa as the group expands its senior management team.
She said: “I am really looking forward to joining such a highly-respected brand and employee-owned business at an exciting time of development and growth for the group”.
Alfa Travel also offers self-drive and river cruise holidays and Jersey breaks by air.
