SELF-DRIVE specialist Motours has ceased trading with
the loss of around 20 jobs.
Owner Keith Swift was forced to close the business
because of cash flow problems.
ABTA confirmed the tour operator had 222 clients
abroad and estimated there were “hundreds” of forward bookings. As many Motours
customers were on self-drive or coach breaks, ABTA will deal with claims and
not the Civil Aviation Authority.
A liquidator had not been appointed as Travel Weekly
went to press.
