I am an HR, Training and Development Consultant and have worked in the Travel Industry for 20 years, enjoying every year as it flies past!
As well as delivering various consultancy services I am also the Vice Chair of the ITT (Institute of Travel and Tourism) Training and Education committee and the Membership Director of the AWTE (Association of Women Travel Executives).
I worked overseas for almost 8 years and returned to London to work at Utell International before joining the pioneering TV Travel Shop as their Training and Development Manager. In 2003 I decided to start my own business, and then a few years later partnered with AA Appointments as AA People Development to give them a training arm to their already successful recruitment business. Since then we have also development AA Graduate which is a free service for business to be introduced to new graduates of Travel and Tourism and get them on their career path through the Industry.
I have delivered HR consultancy, coaching, learning and development, on line training and business consultancy services to various businesses including NCL, Midland Cooperative Travel, Virgin Holidays, The travel shop, Tenerife, Bookatrip.com, Sage UK, Utell/Pegasus, ACE - Association of Cruise Specialists, PSA, Hurtigruten, The Network, CCT, Kosmar and British Airways as well as various other businesses outside of the Travel Industry. I have been a mentor for several Universities and Shine as well as being a member of the AWTE, CIPD, REC and ITT.
