I am the National Sales Manager for Premier Holidays looking after all travel agent business throughout the UK plus the Channel Islands and the Isle of Man (as it is the island of my birth!!). I left the island when I was 20 years old to go travelling and never went back to live although all my family remain there.
I joined Airtours as a holiday rep in 1990 in Mallorca, learned to speak spanish and then embarked on an amazing working tour of the Balearic and Canary Islands as well as places like Egypt, Rhodes and Turkey. I have such fantastic memories of the real "glory years" of Airtours from 1991 through to 2000 when I left the company and my position as Overseas Operations Manager to move back to the UK on a permanent basis.
Since 2000 here in the UK I have worked with Shearings Holidays & OVP Travel in sales and commercial roles helping grow their business through the UK's high street travel agents, home workers, call centres and wholesalers and joined Premier Holidays to do the same in September 2008.
