My life in travel started when I was 15 and sitting in Trailfinders shop in Cairns - we were booking some excursions to the Great Barrier Reef and it was then I decided I wanted to work in the travel industry! I did an Advanced GNVQ in Leisure and Tourism along with A level Business Studies and then followed that with a BA (Hons) degree in Travel and Tourism Management.
I first worked for Premier Holidays in 2002 as a university placement student in Customer Services. After graduating I joined the Sales and Marketing team and I’m now one of Premier’s Sales Managers. I am office based and primarily look after our key in-house accounts as well as Premier Holiday’s online sales. Alongside the Commercial Team, we ensure our prices are competitive, our special offers are communicated to our trade partners effectively (mainly through our weekly newsletter) and our website reflects the best offers, promotional material and information.
