Travelounge manager Gaye Swift met Buzz Lightyear when she attended the UK premiere of Toy Story 3. Swift won a competition run by Disneyland Resort Paris and the Global Travel Group.

Lisa Drake, a personal travel consultant at Hays Travel, based in Cambridgeshire, has won the Cyphlon Holidays spot the mistake competition. Drake won two airline tickets to Cyprus courtesy of Cyprus Airways.

Agents enjoyed some welcome sunshine during a Cox and Kings fam trip to <?xml:namespace prefix = st1 ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:smarttags" /><st1:country-region w:st="on"><st1:place w:st="on">Egypt</st1:place></st1:country-region>. With two nights in <st1:City w:st="on">Cairo</st1:City> allowing time to visit the Pyramids, Sphinx and the <st1:PlaceName w:st="on">Egyptian</st1:PlaceName> <st1:PlaceType w:st="on">Museum</st1:PlaceType>, followed by a four-night cruise down the <st1:place w:st="on">Nile</st1:place> a five-star time was had by all. The best-selling agents saw temples galore immersed themselves in the ancient Egyptian world and even had time to sip gin and tonics while watching the sunset.

Alan Collins, a sales consultant at Alan Cook Travel in Borehamwood, Hertfordshire is celebrating after winning a PlayStation 3 courtesy of Cosmos Holidays.

Agents who booked a Cosmos or Cosmos Tourama holiday during February were entered into a competition to win either a PlayStation3, an iPod or a £50 high street voucher. Cosmos sales executive Andy Hutchinson, left, is pictured presenting Alan with the games console.

Captain Barton first to fly into T5

Captain Lynne Barton made history for the second time in her career last Thursday when she became the first pilot to fly into Heathrow's Terminal 5. Captain Barton, who flew British Airways flight BA026 from Hong Kong into BA's new £4.3 billion London home, also became the airline's first female pilot in 1987 when she joined the Boeing 747 fleet.

The airport has been named as the European winner of the ACI Airport People Awards 2008 for developing a strong customer service culture across the airport.
