Harrison joined easyJet in 2005 and, in stark contrast to the airline’s founder Stelios Haji-Ioannou, operates in a more understated manner. He hit the headlines earlier this year after offloading half his stake in the airline to raise £1.3 million for ‘personal reasons’. Prior to his role at easyJet, he was chief executive of the RAC.
