During the first day departure for Altamura and visit to the historical center. We especially recommend the Romanesque Cathedral built by Frederick II and dedicated to Assunta. In the afternoon, we visit Matera, the city of sassi, ancient, fascinating neighborhoods that create an utterly unique urban site. It is recognized as a worldwide UNESCO Patrimony.
