A great time was had by all at the AWTE Summer Lunch last Thursday 9 July. Speaker, Rita Beckwith, MD of City Cruises and Chair of Docklands Business Club gave a humourous and insightful account of how she has grown City Cruises to the success it is today.
Chair, Tricia Handley, also announced the new AWTE Boardroom Ready project which is open to AWTE members only and will be officially launched on 20 July, hosted by Gita Patel, Director of City investor, Stargate Capital. The aim of this project is to creat a pool of talented women who will better serve their currrent businesses and board, advise other companies in other sectors and potentially serve as non-executive directors.
