Having spent 17 years in travel in both overseas and uk managerial roles i continue to be shocked to the core and disappointed that given where we are in this country with race issues the travel industry does not set any example with its leaders from the Black population in this country both in media or running corporate set ups nor is there anyone that i am aware of coming through the ranks
why is that?
speaking from my perpective i found myself literally hitting barriers to success working for one of the big boys and now run my own online agency Travelshop365.com as i was unwilling to be denied the talent and drive i believed i had but for some unknown reason was not taken up by them
