Is the end of business only airline Eos a sign that the model cannot work? The company follows in the footsteps of business only Maxjet which went bankrupt last December. Meanwhile, the remaining player Silverjet rermains bullish, predicting it will break even in a couple of months. But how will the credit crunch affect its prospects?

Hate to sound like the grim reaper, but it does not look good. Soaring fuel costs are a real problem. BUT, the direct competition no longer exists, so maybe Silverjet can capitalise on its position as the only business-only carrier.

You have to have deep pockets to own an airline - let's see how deep Mr Hunt's are.
