I would like to thanks Phoenix Holidays for offering me the opportunity to taste Moselle River Cruise. We embarked on MS Arlene on 3rd July 2010 and the process was painless. The cabins were spacious, the food truly delicious and the staff were professional, hardworking and knew the meaning of true customer service. They did their utmost to serve us graciously. Our Driver Lee and UK Tour Manager Steve Corelli were very helpful but the Cruise Manager Mathias Weiser, a credit to Phoenix Holidays made this cruise truly unforgettable for everyone by his extensive knowledge, professionalism, charm and unlimited patience with every customer. His commentaries were the highlights of the day for almost every passenger.
The optional excursions to Bernkastel, walking tour of Trier, Saarbruck and Saarlouis, Luxemburg and Wasserbilling were really good but the wine tasting in Traben Trabach was actually the highlight of the optional excursions as the host was so honest, genuine and open and the quality of wines so good that he did not need a sales pitch. Reichesburg Castle excursion on mini buses was very interesting but I decided to walk back the deep incline. Koblenz is a beautiful place, and I found the history of Ahr valley very interesting. Many customers loved MS Arlene so much that they were already thinking of booking their next cruise on MS Arlene. I was pleasantly surprised with the tour apart from some minor hitches with the coaches and they did their best to make the return journey almost painless. I would like to say a huge thank you to Phoenix and the staff of MS Arlene.
