Hi All,
I am the MD of a small tour operator and although I am pretty happy with the overall operation, there is something that worries me a lot and that is the insolvency of a provider (car hire provider, hotel, etc.)
the public can buy such insurance (http://www.aatravelinsurance.com/policy_information/financial-failure-holiday-protection.aspx) however I have been struggling for a while to find such product. IPP of London (http://www.ipplondon.co.uk) claims to have such insurance but I can assure that they dont as they seem not to cover anything outside the UK and most of our providers are based abroad.
Can anyone shed some light on this issue that I am sure affects most or all of us?
I look forward to hearing from you.
Kind regards
M Gibson
Maggson, All SFI insurance I know of only apply to travel booked in the UK.(including the AA)
Your best bet is to speak to someone like IPP and see if they can arrange anything.
