After reading the great ludicrous customer complaints thread I thought what about ludicrous customer requests!
A couple of years ago I sold cruises for a cruise agent and had a phone call from one of my clients who was on the last full day of an Ocean Village cruise somewhere in the Caribbean. She asked me if I could see if it was possible for her to extend her cruise by an extra week as someone had died in cabin xxx.
While numerous things were going on in my brain I suggested to her that the person who died might well have been due to fly home the next day from Barbados like she was. To which she replied “No, no, they definitely weren’t because I have already asked his wife and she told me they were only on the first week of their cruise and she was flying home early.” The client then went on to say “I have checked with her and she doesn’t mind!” I could only imagine how the conversation went.
Needless to say Ocean Village did not let her stay on the cruise the extra week even though she was willing to pay.
I have created many websites, including for cheap cruises, cruise deals and a new one attacking cruise holidays.
Some people are unbelieveable!
