I've just heard that Holiday Options has gone out of business. I'm really surprised and didn't see that one coming. Did any of you have any dealings with them? What's your reaction?

It is a sad day when a good operator enters into administration. One of my staff have also just come back from an educational with Holiday Options in ther last month. Over the Years Rupert Diggens worked immensely to bring the name of Holiday Options into our Agencies, and we have had many satisfied customers. I Hope all of the staff find work as soon as possible

I am pleased it also looks as though every effort has been made to protect our clients with the news that another Operator is taking over all of our advanced bookings.

I am in shock really, it is a massive gap in the market for that area and the work they did in promoting this part of the world was both essential and worthwhile. I was very lucky to have been able to attend one of their fam trips to Croatia last year, and was suprised that they were still trying to shake off this image of poverty and war, it is a truly beautiful country, very clean and in my opinion in places far superior to Italy. Not only will it be more difficult to promote this area without Holiday Options but the rest of the portfolio they presented, they had a very good product and our customers will be sad to not repeat their holidays with them. Of course it is obviously a difficult time for the staff, so I hope they all find something suitable elsewhere soon.

We are too, worked really closely with Holiday Options for  flights and product to Croatia.  Their Res team was second to none in terms of their knowledge and assistance.  We're specialists to Croatia so If we can help any of you with specialist product to the area, we'd be happy to help but it really doesn't get away from the real sadness we feel about losing this most pro-active and friendly of partners.

Yes, they were very agent friendly and it is always sad to see an operator like that go.

This was hard hit. They cover areas that no one else does so well. Since they cancelled both there flights from our local airport booking have gone down but we still had regular bookers for them.

It hard to see such a good team with out jobs at this time of year and my thoughts go out to them
