Just been chatting to Kevin May, editor of our sister title Travolutions, about Silverjet and the prognosis for the other airlines in the wake of escalating fuel prices.
According to an analyst on R4 this morning, BA has so far managed to ride the storm because its hedged its fuel supplies - six months down the line, it too could be in trouble.
Tomorrow will see the release of figures from Ryanair. As Kevin explained, some pundits reckon it's failed to hedge adequately so it'll be interesting to see the numbers from the budget airline in the morning.
