Flyglobespan went into adminstration today leaving 4,500 people abroad and around 100,000 more booked to travel.

It didn't come as a shock to many in the travel industry. Reports in the last couple of weeks had described an airline on the brink of collapse and struggling to get a last minute funding deal.

With BA cabin crew planning a 12 day strike, it looks like lot of holidaymakers are going to end up disappointed this Christmas.

Where you surprised by the news? Have your clients been affected?

Think the amount of money held by Eclear was thing that got to us, sounds like a quarters income.

We knew flyglobespan was in trouble in October when ABTA protection would no longer cover them.
