...not much, just a trip to India! I have always wanted to go there and never been. I would love to see all the touristy sights, such as the Taj Mahal, and then relax on the beach for a bit.
Anyone else got any travel-related Christmas wishes?
I spent a couple of seasons working in India North and South and been back many times. Although there are a million places I haven't seen yet I would still love to find a ticket to Delhi in my Christmas stocking!
Other Christmas wishes would be Andaman Islands or African bush - no mobile phone coverage or electricity. Just peace and quite apart from a wave crashing on the beach or the odd Lions roar!
Hi
it is funny that Emily wants to go to India. I am going to india for two weeks on 12th December and returning on 28th. It is cheap and cheerful Golden triangle tour. After all we went through this year, I deserve a holiday but I know that I will look at it as a working holiday. I will remember you on my journeys and will bring back, hopefully a lot of photos.
Regards
I am jealous! Please do bring back photos, I would love to see them.
Hi Emily.
I will.
Love Salma

That is very kind of you - I say yes, but my credit card says no!!
I guess I have missed out for this Christmas, however I asked the kids and although they have been to many places around the globe, Disney, Australiaetc they wanted to go to Herm. Great place, sit and the beach and do nothing!!! No phone calls, nothing!!
I have created many websites, including for cheap cruises, cruise deals and a new one attacking cruise holidays.
Am impressed with your kids' geographic knowledge - I had to google Hern to check it was where I thought it was!
We went there once under protest from them, now though, they just want to go back.
I would love to go to India but am wondering is a place you could go with 2 small children, they are both under 5, and if so where would you recomend going. I have been looking on http://www.hotelpricescanner.com and they have some really cheap hotels but was wondering if its sfae enough for kids etc... what the best time of year to go is and so on.
Any advice would really be appreciated!
Yes. India is perfectly safe as long as you look after your children. Taking precautions with food and water is absolutely essential and innoculations are essential. Goa and kerala are two places that I can recomment as Goa is touristy and well developed for all kinds of clients and Kerala is just wonderful.
Thanks for that...its helped alot, im definatley thinking about Goa
