Next week I am back in the homeland of Scotland at the fantastic setting for this year’s SPAA Summer Ball - the Cameron House Hotel on Loch Lomond so hope to see many of our Scottish colleagues on my travels or at the event itself.   

Just a few comments to ease  you into your weekend mode for those of you lucky enough not to work Saturdays and Sundays unlike the unsung heroes in high street shops, call centres and of course home workers!

Middle age is when you're sitting at home on a Saturday night and the telephone rings and you hope it isn't for you!

Only Robinson Crusoe had everything done by Friday!
