Riviera Travel extends flexible booking promise

Riviera Travel has extended its flexible booking promise and on board credit offers to bookings made until the end of March.

Its flexibility promise allows customers to change a booking for no cost up to 45 days before travel on 2021 holidays, and now up until June 30 for 2022 holidays.

Up to €400 of on-board credit is also being offered on select European river cruises in both 2021 and 2022.

Both offers were originally scheduled to end on February 28, but will now run for the rest of this month.

Jim Forward, Riviera Travel’s chief commercial officer, said: “We’ve had a particularly positive response from the trade to these offers so are pleased to be able to extend their availability. With the assurances we have in place, plus the on-board credit offer, now is the time for agents to encourage their customers to look to the future and start planning their ideal holiday on a risk-free basis.”

Riviera’s ‘Holiday Happiness Guaranteed’ assurance also continues to apply. It includes a promise to bring home and fully refund any guest who is on a tour or cruise of eight days or more, and is not completely satisfied with their holiday by the second day; a Covid-19 cancellation policy allowing guests to transfer for no charge to a later date if they have to cancel due to the pandemic; and       Covid-19 curtailment protection, which automatically compensates any guest who has their holiday cut short as a direct consequence of the pandemic and isn’t covered by insurance.

Riviera has 27 Europe and worldwide river cruises, plus eight European solo traveller river cruises, currently on sale.

Destinations include the Danube, Rhine, Cairo and Mekong. Five Adriatic yacht cruises, and a further two for solo travellers, are available this year.

In addition, 108 escorted tours, including on a solo basis, are available in the UK and across all seven continents.
