WORLDWIDE TRAVEL CONSULTANT

We are currently recruiting experienced worldwide travel consultants. Offering a salary of 16,000 - 17,000 a year Basic plus uncapped commission!! (average OTE - 24k a year) with up to 27 days holiday and company pension. Working 4 days out of 7 on a continental shift pattern specializing in Worldwide Tailormade holidays using a CRS.
To work within a Travel reservations sales department, call centre environment at offices based in Stockport for a company who offers excellent progression to staff who show potential.


Within the role of Worldwide Travel Consultant you will:

- Work in a Travel sales environment in a call centre, booking holidays to the Long haul destinations around the world.
- Make reservations for multi sector holiday itineraries, Long haul hotels and car hire
- Use a CRS and Dynamic packaging using scheduled and low cost carriers to make bookings
- Have good working knowledge of Airline contracts and various airfares terminology
- Have the drive to meet and exceed set sales targets and call conversion targets
- Provide a high standard of customer service at all times showing enthusiasm and knowledge about the product you are selling.

The successful Travel Consultant will have

- Preferably a Travel Call Centre, Travel Telesales, or Reservations Travel Consultant or Retail travel background
- Experience and knowledge of long haul, Tailormade and of booking multi sector destinations
- Experience of using a CRS, either Worldspan, Galileo, Sabre, or Amadeus
- A proven track record of working towards and hitting targets
