A successful and long established tour operator is looking for a well travelled, industry experienced (1-2 years), sales consultant to join their small team in West London selling tailor-made itineraries all over the world. A very competitive annual salary of 20K plus excellent commission (OTE GBP24K-GBP32K) is being offered to the right person.
Worldwide Travel Consultant.
Duties:
Deal with enquiries promptly and efficiently by phone and email
Selling worldwide tailor-made itineraries to customers
Creating tailor-made itineraries for clients.
Flight reservation through our suppliers
Liasing with overseas suppliers
Organising all customer documentation
Skills Required :
Must be able to work to deadlines.
Good geographical knowledge
Must have travelled extensively to at least 5 countries
High standard and of customer service skills, to deal with a diverse clientele
Ability to multi-task
Excellent Telephone manner and organisation skills.
Good numerical understanding to prepare client invoices
Ability to deal with clients and agents face to face.
Must have a good understanding of the modern world traveller and their requirements, a keen travel enthusiast is essential
