An award winning travel organisation are looking for a senior project manager to manage project teams, and assist with large and multiple projects within the travel industry.
The senior project manager will be expected to provide tactical and operational management, lead, motivate and mentor project managers usually within a matrix structure. You will assist with the head of project management with improving quality, efficiency and overall capability of the project management team. You will coordinate and manage the implementation of software to new customers. He/she will develop, build and lasting relationships with suppliers, customers and stakeholders. You will deliver best practices to ensure timely delivery of projects. You will manage; escalate and resolve issues and risks during project lifecycle.
The successful applicant will have extensive detailed project management experience working ideally within software implementation preferably within the travel industry. You will possess a good working knowledge of Prince 2, Microsoft Project, Word, Excel and PowerPoint. You will also have good knowledge of Project risk analysis and project management techniques. He/she will be able to operate under pressure and deliver projects on time.
