MAIN PURPOSE:

Private Clients is a high end, by invitation only, leisure travel planning and management service within Reed and Mackay. A leader of its prestigious sector and in the top ten of Travel Management and Services Companies in the UK, Reed and Mackay’s performance has been outstanding for nearly 40 years, setting Industry standards for service excellence, developing people, technology, and products to further outdistance the competition.

Following the launch of the service in Autumn 2006, the proposition has grown significantly and is on track to achieve £4m+ within the next 18 months. This is underpinned by continuing to deliver a dedicated personal approach to holiday planning and delivering unique holidays to discerning travellers who prize experience and service as their key satisfaction criteria.

We are looking for an individual who is motivated by delivering fantastic service to a portfolio of high profile clients. Someone who is capable of fostering very strong relationships and building trust allowing us to proactively manage our clients travel needs in ways which are far beyond the classic tour operating competition.


KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

• To develop highly successful and trusting relationships with a portfolio of clients, either direct, through their partners, or through their PA’s
• To develop detailed ‘profiles’ of each client, providing the base for ensuring we can secure the best solutions for their variety of individual needs.
• To proactively plan clients leisure travel needs throughout the year.)
• To exceed client expectations – After obtaining an effective and detailed brief, develop suitable and highly desirable tailor made holiday solutions using our broad range of DMC suppliers to ensure exceptional service and value is delivered every time.
• To deliver sales and income in line with personal and team targets by effectively managing client needs through a combination of holiday planning (potentially beyond 12 months) in addition to closing last minute ad hoc enquiries.
• Support the continued growth of the client base.
• To continually develop product knowledge which ensures we can select the right solution every time , giving clients extreme confidence in our ability. Experience of self packaging product using DMCs is an advantage.
• To continually build on client knowledge through a series of initiative including post trip calls/meeting to establish likes and dislikes for future profiles – without frustrating client.

CORE SKILLS REQUIRED

• Extensive experience in developing and delivering premium leisure holidays direct to clients
• A proven track record of high service delivery and client retention skills – nurtured through personal involvement to develop strong client loyalty
• A strong relationship builder you will possess exceptional communication skills and have the ability to nurture core relationships with clients direct, their partners or their PA’s – either over the phone or face to face.
• You will possess exceptional product knowledge of premium leisure products (best destinations hotels / villas / travel experiences throughout the world)
• A proven track record of hitting sales targets
• Good commercial acumen with the ability to identify revenue making opportunities as well as demonstrating value to clients
• Confident and Vibrant and passionate about travel
• Driven, determined and committed
• Works well under pressure
• A creative and open mind when delivering solutions, with great attention to detail when adding the small touches that have very high perceived value
