Africa Programme Manager: This is an exciting brand new position within a boutique tour operating business, managing the Africa product. The role is responsible for the continuing commercial and operational success of the programme. Furthermore you will be expected to identify areas for development based on market analysis and sales/cost projections. The role incorporates a wide range of responsibilities including the preparation of marketing materials and the production of travel brochures. In addition, the nature of the business means there will also be a requirement for the individual to assist in a sales reservation capacity as required.
Skills Needed:
- Both personal and professional exposure to Africa product
- Sound commercial acumen and good numerical and analytical skills
- A consummate relationship builder, you will also have strong communication, customer service and negotiation skills
- Whilst previous experience in a product role is an advantage it is not a necessity and applications from candidates with a strong sales background looking to move into a product lead role are also welcomed.
