Poll: Imaginative Traveller's £2,099 'mystery tour' - would you?

October 6, 2008

We reported last week that Imaginative Traveller is launching a £2,099 'mystery tour' - which is exactly what it sounds like. All you get is departure info and details of what kit and jabs you need.

So let's not mess around: given that you could afford it, would you book? I quite like the idea, but I'd need to be considerably richer...

Stan:

I booked on this tour yesterday and I was the eleventh person (of fifteen available places) to do so! Its now guaranteed to go ahead and I'm already really excited about it. The only information they give out is that you won't need a visa in advance for any of the places visited (as that WOULD be a bit oa a give away). They wouldn't tell me which continent or even whether I should take jungle boots, desert boots, or gore-tex boots for fear of narrowing it down. Nearer the time maybe . . . Only 7 1/2 months to go!

Nathan Midgley:

Nice! Thanks for letting me know Stan... I might drop you an email, I'd be interested to hear how it goes.
