Etihad offers direct flights to... Dubai bus station?

January 22, 2008

Nice spot from Select World Travel owner (and blogger) Lee Harrison: searching Jetset for flights from Heathrow to Dubai, he found that one Etihad service apparently lands at the bus station.

Chris Marks:

Well, that is technically correct - Etihad fly you as far as Abu Dhabi and then transfer you by bus to Dubai. So, yes, you do arrive at the bus station.

Nathan:

Aaah. Thanks for that Chris. Does look a bit odd to those who aren't familiar with the service.

Mick McKeown:

I have made the same mistake.I Booked a flight online from Manchester to Dubai and in the confusion thought that Abu Dhabi & Dubai were in the same place (UAE) and I would be getting a Bus from the Airport to city centre! My fault entirely. Anyhow as the old saying goes - Right desert wrong tent!
