Scott Dunn founder takes non-executive role in travel PR firm

The founder and lifetime president of luxury operator Scott Dunn is joining a travel PR company as non-executive chairman.

Andrew Dunn is taking up the role at The PC Agency and is acquiring a stake in the company for an undisclosed sum.

The PC Agency was founded by former Virgin Atlantic and Eurostar communications director Paul Charles and employs 23 staff.

The company acquired hotel PR specialist Angel Publicity in August with its founder, Emma Cripwell, becoming managing director of The PC Agency.

Clients include Lime Wood, The Pig hotels, Red Savannah, Tourism Ireland, Tourism New Zealand, Visit Finland, Finnair, Aer Lingus, ITC Hotels, Silversea and Butterfield & Robinson.

Dunn said: “I have seen Paul build a great team in a company with an impressive list of clients – in my experience great clients choose to work with the finest in their sector.

“There is a clear vision ahead for The PC Agency and I look forward to helping it grow its influence further.”

Charles said: “I’m flattered and humbled that Andrew has chosen to invest in The PC Agency and become non-executive chairman.

“There is a wide range of companies that he could have chosen to invest in.

“Andrew has considerable business flair and built one of the most successful and admired tour operators in the travel industry.

“His business and travel knowledge will be invaluable as we continue to grow in the months and years ahead.”
