SPAA confirms Travelport chief as speaker annual dinner

Travelport chief executive Gordon Wilson has been confirmed as industry speaker at next year’s annual Scottish Passenger Agents Association annual dinner.

Former BBC Breakfast co-host Bill Turnbull will present his thoughts on ‘travel from the outside’ at the 87th annual gathering of the travel industry in Scotland.

In a break from tradition, the 2017 dinner will be held on March 2, instead of its regular date of the last Thursday in February.

The dinner for more than 250 guests will take place once again at Glasgow’s Crowne Plaza hotel, featuring feature traditional pipes and drums, and SPAA president Alan Glen will address the haggis.

Tickets for the 87th dinner cost of £100 plus VAT. Bookings can be made via SPAA secretary Janice Hogarth at jhogarth@spaa.org or on 0131 531 0625.
