Vietnam Airlines takes delivery of tenth Dreamliner

Vietnam Airlines has taken delivery of its tenth new generation Boeing 787 Dreamliner.
 
The airline has been operating the aircraft on daily flights to Heathrow since September 2015 and first started using the 787 two months earlier.
 
The expanded fleet will enable to carrier to start using 787s to Sydney and Melbourne in 2017.
 
The carrier operates 787s on the domestic route between Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City as well as to Frankfurt, Tokyo and Beijing.
 
Phan Xuan Duc, executive vice president of Vietnam Airlines, said: “The 787 is one of the keys to our fleet expansion plans, and plays a vital role in enabling us to offer customers four-star quality of service and establishing Vietnam Airlines as one of the leading carriers in Asia.”
