Former Lowcost Holidays managing director Tim Buckman has been appointed chief marketing officer of Broadway Travel Group.
He will make the switch to the travel agency group from marketing agency Addmustard on December 1.
Buckman has also previously held senior positions at transfers specialist Resorthoppa (now Hoppa) and worked for a number of airlines including SilverJet and Cathay Pacific.
Buckman said: “I am hugely excited to be joining the team at Broadway Travel Group and playing a key role in the group’s exciting growth plans.”
Buckman will sit on Broadway’s executive board along with non-executive chairman Hugh Morgan, chief executive Adam Pardini and chief operating officer Jill Mitchell.
He has been tasked with rolling out the digital strategy for the group over coming months taking responsibility for Broadway’s successful offline and flash sale business.
Buckman will report into Mitchell, who said: “We are delighted that Tim has joined the group at a key time for our strategic growth.
“We are looking forward to working with him in delivering growth in both our online and offline channels, and enhancing our customer journey.
“His knowledge and experience will bring huge value to Broadway Travel and our consortia members.”
