Corporate traveller set for Dutch expansion

Business travel specialist Corporate Traveller confirmed London as its European headquarters ahead of the opening of its first office on the continent.

The European expansion will see a Dutch office open in Amsterdam on September 5 followed by three other offshoots over the next 18 months.

The travel management company said it spotted a gap in the Dutch SME business travel market, requiring a “boutique” solution after conducting extensive research.

Corporate Traveller Netherlands will also benefit from the buying power of its umbrella company, Flight Centre Travel Group Europe.

The Dutch team will comprise four executives, including Stephan van Arnhem as the country’s general manager. A business development manager and two travel managers will also join the new team in Amsterdam.

General manager Europe, Graeme Milne, said: “At a time when many businesses are considering their relationship with Europe, I’m incredibly pleased to be strengthening Corporate Traveller’s European ties.

“The exponential travel management opportunities in the Netherlands and our secure grounding in London, means now is an ideal time to invest in the country and further afield.”

He added: “Our offering is boutique, meaning each client receives a personalised service, whether in the Netherlands or London, and our expansion won’t change this approach.

“We’re looking forward to working with a selection of new clients and offering them a strategic and flexible travel management service, that’s guaranteed to save their business both time and money.”
