EasyHotel is to expand its portfolio by 401 rooms through new franchise deals.
This will result in the super budget chain opening a property in Istanbul, with 50 rooms due to open by the end of 2017.
A total of 300 rooms are expected to open by the end of 2019.
A separate agreement will see a 101-room hotel open in Lisbon by the end of December 2017 through the conversion of office space.
The agreements, following a deal announced yesterday for a hotel in Germany, bring the total number of rooms under development by easyHotel franchisees to 1,138.
Chief executive Guy Parsons said: “We are delighted to be working with new partners who have local expertise, know-how and property assets in these new markets for easyHotel.
“We continue to see significant opportunity to expand our franchise hotels network in these and other target markets, enabling us to leverage our brand awareness without direct capital investment.”
