Air France issues disruption warning ahead of strike

Air France has warned of flight disruption due to a six-day strike by cabin crew.

The industrial action has been called by several cabin crew unions to run from today until August 2.

The French flag carrier plans to run more than 90% of long haul and domestic flights today but only 80% of medium haul services from Paris Charles de Gaulle airport.

But the airline warned of possible last minute cancellations and delays.

“Difficulties with crew compositions may also limit the number of passengers per flight,” Air France added.

“For the next days, according to the estimate of the number of employees on strike, our flight schedule will be adapted accordingly and published the day before departure.”
